It contains a collection of tools needed to make leather belts and straps, including leather punches and a mallet, hole and end shaping templates and a leather belt blank and buckle. 

This 10 piece leatherworking kit - worth £200 - 207 when purchased separately from our site - contains:

  • One chestnut tan vegetable tanned leather belt blank (in 1 inch, 1.25 inch, 1.5 inch or 1.75 inch)
  • One solid brass West End style buckle (in 1 inch, 1.25 inch, 1.5 inch or 1.75 inch) Please select the buckle size that corresponds to the belt size you require.
  • Belt hole making template
  • Deluxe Rotary Hole Punch
  • Oblong slot punch, 1 inch Size
  • Heavy Leather Mallet 15 oz Size

Please note that to make a leather belt from start to finish you will require other general leathercraft tools and hardware, all of which are available to purchase separately from our site if not in your kit already. These include:

  • Leather marking and cutting tools (a leather scratch awl and cutting knife) and there are various methods for finishing edges, including edge burnishing. Please see our Leather Marking & Measuring, Leather Knife and Leather Edge Burnishing collections.
  • Tools & hardware to attach the buckle to the belt, with options including using Chicago Screws, rivets, or by hand stitching.
  • Tools & hardware to secure the belt end. The kit includes a small piece of extra leather which can be used to make a leather belt loop. Other options include solid brass belt keepers or d-rings (sold separately).
